Sudan Vision Organization

Sudan Vision Organization (SUVO) was established and registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in 2014 under registration number K64. It was founded by experienced humanitarian workers after the closure of INGO programs in Kassala in 2012.

Sudan vision has vast experience in implementing protection, Health and nutrition, livelihood and WASH activities in the East of Sudan since 2014, running programs in in Kassala and Red sea states through WFP, Plan International, Concern, and Samaritan’s Purse.

To deliver quality humanitarian and development programs in protection, nutrition, WASH, and livelihoods, working in partnership with local communities, government, and donors.

Executive Director

Ali Karar brings over 12 years of experience in executive management, strategic planning, and donor and partner relations. He has extensive expertise in overseeing program implementation, financial management, and reporting, ensuring organizational effectiveness and accountability.

Our Objectives

1. Strengthen Community Health and Nutrition Services

To improve access to quality health, nutrition, and hygiene services for vulnerable populations, including women, children, and marginalized communities, through integrated programs and community-based interventions.

2. Promote Women’s and Youth Empowerment

To empower women and youth economically and socially through skills development, livelihood support, income-generating activities, and leadership initiatives, fostering resilience and self-reliance.

3. Strengthen Community Engagement and Awareness

To promote positive social norms and increase awareness on gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, reproductive health, and maternal rights through sustained community outreach and mobilization.

4. Strengthen Community Resilience and Livelihoods

To support vulnerable households in achieving food security, improved livelihoods, and disaster resilience through agricultural support, cash-based interventions, and livelihood diversification programs.
